January 3, 2020 – Los Angeles – The United Premier Soccer League today announced it will host its Eastern Summit Meeting on Friday, Jan. 17, in Baltimore, Md.

The UPSL Eastern Summit Meeting will take place at the Baltimore Convention Center, site of the United Soccer Coaches Convention from January 16-18. Scheduled speakers include UPSL Commissioner Yan Skwara, U.S. Soccer Federation Board Member John Paul Motta, and USASA Executive Director Duncan Riddle.

The UPSL 2020 Eastern Summit Meeting will be held in Meeting Room 322 at Baltimore Convention Center (1W Pratt St., Baltimore, MD 21201), from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17. Any potential new teams are welcome to attend but must RSVP to info@upslsoccer.com to receive a formal invitation.

United Premier Soccer League Commissioner Yan Skwara said, "We're always excited to host our annual Eastern Summit Meeting. This time it's in Baltimore, a great city and host of another historic United Soccer Coaches Convention. The UPSL received National League status from USASA in late 2019, meaning the league is right there among the top development leagues in the United States and an increased responsibility on the country's biggest soccer stage. This is a great time of the year for all our member clubs to meet, mix-and-match and get to know each other off the field, developing relationships and discussing future soccer business. We look forward to seeing everybody and look forward to a great 2020 calendar year for the league and all its members."

The United Soccer Coaches Convention is the single largest soccer convention held annually in the United States, with over 20,000 soccer coaches, players, fans and vendors among the masses expected.

The UPSL will host booth No. 433 on the main floor of the Baltimore Convention Center during the United Soccer Coaches Convention, and officials and representatives from the league will be on hand to talk about the expansive growth of the UPSL, explain the necessary steps to compete in the league and answer any questions.
